Sketchup Extension - MF stair tools

This is my first extension written in my spare time. I am now reviewing and fine-tuning it. Hope it will be released soon.

This plugin lets you create a single flight of stair between 2 floors with known floor level difference. The stair generated shall comply with Hong Kong building codes, otherwise no stair can be created.

Press ‘draw stair’ toolbar or menu item under plugin menu, an inputbox will appear, choose a standard from drop down list and click 'ok'. Then another inputbox will appear. Enter info such as the floor level difference, stair width and number of steps and click ‘ok’. A stair with handrail will be generated if the inputs comply with the building codes. If not, messages will be given to you to modify inputs until a stair is created or you can click ‘cancel’ to abort. Solidsolver should be loaded automatically at the end and turn the stair into solid group. If not, right click and choose solidsolver with the stair selected. You can undo the stair generation by pressing Edit>Undo twice.

This extension is intended to create a repeatative unit for building the whole staircase, It is suggested that users turn the unit into a component before editing and copying. Several tools by others are incorporated into my toolbar as I find them especially useful for editing stairs. For detail usage, please refer to my youtube videos.
